still not decided how much power i want from the engine but so far its 1380cc running on a weber carb, LCB manifold. Shell has a carbanfibre front and bonet with brace bars fitted to the sub frame. Rear seat has been cut down with pockets removed. rear cage fitted, fabficating the front half soo, front and read arches modifyed for clearance suspension wise its useing blue cones with spax adjustables, adjustable camber bottem arms fixed rear 1.5 degre rear camber brackets all poly bushed. Metro turbo vented disks with 4pot calipers, braided lines. um, miglia arches and when i can afford it, 13x7 (or 8) ultralights with A048R's think thats it..................

Yup, goin for the bumperless look, wings are cut for 13's, looks quite silly with 12's and no arches!

looking very good so far - do you intend keeping the rubber mounts on the front subframe?
I kept mine for about a week after putting my 1380 in, the pull you get from the engine soon destroys the mounts - I welded in strengthening plates to the floor and front (as well as seem welding the subframe) before fitting solid mounts.
It made so much difference......
You might want to think about upgrading to stronger cross-pins as well (and poly bushes if you haven't alread).
Did you just weld plates over the rear light cluster holes?

I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people I don't like.

This might be a stupid question but what are you doing for rear lights, (this is a road car right?) I remember a mini in street machine a few years back that had the rear lights in the back window. I think they look the nuts with the back end smoothed off like that though

I would like to put them behind the rear screen, MOT man don't like that tho as the lights has to represent the with of the car. I'v bought landrover lights to go on, not decided where yet tho! I'v poly bushed the whole thing, might have to see how i get on with the mounts and replace stuff as it breaks
