Anyone have one on their car? I mean the ones that come off the top of the door rather than some clever means of perving under girls skirts ;D My Mazda is in the bodyshop this week for a pretty much full respray and the spare door I have has had the mirror holes smoothed off so I have unlimited choice for a replacement mirror (only has one on the drivers side) What ya reckons? Anyone have one? How do they normally attach to the frame? ![](http://vagner.jeje.je/bilder/albums/68_Type1/div_restorod_006.sized.jpg) ![](http://www.veewrx.com/derby/2009-08-04Derby002Medium.jpg)

I had one on my old mini when I bought it. They look cool, but from my experience it was 100% useless as a mirror. Too small and too wobbly to rely on at all.

My Zephyr has two ![](http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/9932/pa202168li1.jpg) Attach with a screw tighten clamp, maybe a bit blurry but still useful, you only really need to make out large shapes and the colours red and blue.

In the spirit of adapting similar things, if its any use, you can get a motorbike bar end mirror in stainless steel ![](http://www.hitchcocksmotorcycles.com/images/enfield_india/done/large92529.jpg) Just got an Enfield with one on which is how I know. This one is £24 +VAT etc from www.hitchcocksmotorcycles.com. Don't know how that price compares with the real thing

I've had small ones on my 107E, Anglia and Pop. They are lifesavers on the motorway if you have no other side mirrors and look good too, in my opinion.

I'm very tempted... The mounting face of the door is slightly curved inwards anyway so getting anything other than the standard mirror on the door may be a bit of a pain (I still have the standard mirror which is quite nice but I fancy leaving the lines of the doors uncluttered and I think I will go for a peepo, cheers for your input fellas ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

the square clip on ones are useless. These have to be better. Otherwise is your car old enough to get away with wing mount mirrors they look awesome and provide reasonable vision

I have one on the Tiki mobile, its got a convex lense and works a treat for lane changing and stuff but,it doesn't give you a massive field of vision.I used to have a Maltese cross one,it did my head in and had to go! It looked cool but,it was a nightmare because you had 5 different images to work from,it was like playing roulette trying to change lanes. ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) ![](http://www.thenightprowlers.com/images/Mirror02.jpg)
