...a 1989 Nissan Sunny ;D... I've been looking for a cheap runaround since scrapping the skud last week, but there didn't seem to be much around (not what I'd call cheap anyway ). I've been taking the O/H to work and using the Astra, when I picked her up this afternoon I saw a modded beetle outside a unit in some railway arches near where she works (this area is like a 'Life On Mars set, belive me!). Anyway I turned down by the arches with the idea of taking a picture, and at the end of the road there's a pub, with various cars for sale parked outside. The Sunny had £195 on the screen... While I was looking round it a woman came out of the pub and told me which unit to go to... turns out it has 12 months MOT on it, and the guy says he'd take £120... I gave it a quick blast up the road and it seems fine. There are some holes in the O/S/R door, a dent in the N/S sill and the driver's window winder cable has gone, so there's a piece of webbing strap to raise and lower the window, but I've seen worse. The guy is going to tax it tommorow, so I can pick it up... ...Pictures will follow... ;D

... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.

sounds thoroughly horrible, but deffo cheap motoring! I hereby sanction a vigorous bashing with the stick, some matt black paint, and red wheels, blah blah blah.

I say you go pizza delivery route Defo! which is...Hmm well bits falling off, a black wing, bumps in the bumpers and one wheel trim, smelly 'air freshener' and an empty pizza box (thats the easiest bit )!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts
