I've just remembered this van, don't know why. Does anyone know it? Its a 'vanned' version of a south american built Fiat Uno estate. They did sell em in the UK, but not many, must be a pretty rare piece. Googling doesnt even turn up a picture of one. That must make it pretty freakin obscure and on that basis alone I would like to get one. Here is a pick-up one which would be OK but I would really like the van one. Any pics?

Ultra-obscure!
There's a few still about like. I'm pretty sure Bedford has a high percentage of them, usually in use as garage parts-chasers and/or pizza delivery trucks....

Potentially stupid question - isn't that a fiorino? I thought uno based vans were fiorinos, not citivans... google gives plenty of them as well both from mercadolibre (argentina)

nope, its not them... theres no box on the back, its just like an estate car with blanked-off windows.

my mate is a delivery driver for a motor parts company and used to drive a fiorino van. had an accident at 40mph and nearly died when the thing turned inside out. pick up in mr B's pic looks longer than a fiorino van. but I don't know, I don't know fiats

Duna?
That looks like a Regatta 'Weekend' to me.... the one with the drop-down rear bumper and killer rust as standard.

Actually, I retract my last statement. It was 100% wrong. A regatta looks like this:

I said I wanted the van one! Not a pick up! I just boshed the pick-up on simply cos I could find a pic of it!

They sold a few over here with a 1.7 diesel, Fiat were trying to compete with the Peugeot 305 van which sold by the bucketload over here. I worked in a Fiat dealership when this guy with a Citivan came in on a towrope. He'd ran out of diesel, gone of with a can to get some, he reckoned he'd been gone 1/2 hour, when he came back, it made to attempt to start. Opened the bonnet to find battery/alternator and starter motor had been nicked!
