If you sign up over at www.classic-audi.co.uk I'm sure someone would be able to hook you up with the necessary panels

That made me make a noise that sounded a bit like "phHhwaaaar". Which is a good noise ;D Is this just going to be a sensible resto then? Do I remember you saying you had one as your first car?

If you sign up over at www.classic-audi.co.uk I'm sure someone would be able to hook you up with the necessary panels I´ll pop over and have a look, cheers. Doesn´t look like it, cheers mate. I´ve found a german supplier thanks to MrJ but his prices are pretty steep. I´ll probably end up making up most of the repair panels myself. You have PM with Number . Thanks Rian, i´ll give him a bell a bit closer to the date WOW, I Looooove these, one day ill have one.... good choice that man!!! Make sure you get a fresh gas bottle for the welder if you do mate That made me make a noise that sounded a bit like "phHhwaaaar". Which is a good noise ;D Is this just going to be a sensible resto then? Do I remember you saying you had one as your first car? Guilty as charged sir, this will be no. 6 or seven. As far as the restoration goes i´ll have to restore it back to original spec, get it registered and TÜVed then i fancy something silly like a V8 or Quattro conversion or both Looks lovely on the outside Riveted plates don't bode well though It´s one of those 6´ cars, it looks great up to about 6´ away It only needs 6 inches of welding though.........the bottom 6 PM tonybmw, ask him if he'll sort it and hope he'll say yes Matt No way Matt, that´s the best part but i can see me asking Mark (Nightmares) for another paintjob in a couple of years

Hey, these are one of the best looking cars around IMO. The proportions are just perfect. NICE WORK! Are you gonna convert it to left hand drive?

i have a couple of those panels left : ;D obvioulsy Warny in Belgium offer some panels : www.warny.be/data/pieces.php?p_id=33&p_trade=8though i was told that warny sold all the Audi/VW panels to Hoffmann Speedster in Germany ... the coupe is one of the nicest looking Audis, the first and last with a really italian design.... i wouldn't go for a huge engine, as i am still scared about the sofa-like suspension, but you could put in a 924 engine or even a 5 pot .... that would make sense.....

The proportions are just perfect. NICE WORK! Are you gonna convert it to left hand drive? I think i´ll leave it rhd drive for now and once a donor car is sorted i´ll take over as much of the running gear as possible including the LHD steering rack. Cheers Jürgen, i´ve got plenty of those plates too lying around and i think with the Escort not looking anybetter than the Audi i´ll be needing them all. Thanks for that link, never heard of them - i´ll go and have a look see what what the´ve got. ;D Will be interesting to see what he gets for it.........i didn´t pay that much for mine though that look so much better on those steelys than the alloys they are normally on them.nice. Once they´re lowered a bit i agree but there are some nice wheels out there that will fit especially if i end up running the Audi V8 running gear
