cheers fellas Bruce, i did wonder about it being allot, i know the bonnets are, but the boots defo steel, has started to tarnish a little, if it was something i didnt want to corrode, would have rotted away before my eyes i have to admit, i like the black boot, but don't want to paint the rear panel because if i need to sell , itd prob sell better with the white boot bonnet etc, but i am kinda tempted to get me some black fablon an d give it a whirl ;D don't get to use the car as much as id like and when the tax is up in november, itll be comin off the road for the winter i should sell it, but its too much fun ;D

;D I did briefly consider doing the wheels white, but then all I could think of was this Noooo, black centres, white rims/lips/dish like.... You sir, have just given me inspiration to repaint my Revs on the mini! That just looks the dogs danglies! As for the Mazda (staying on topic ) looks ace! Every time I see an MX-5 it just makes me want one. They can look so good! I pass one coming home from work most days, nice and low with some seriously dished wheels! damn!

well, its time to rag the mazda outa hibernation. mot was up, needed a headlight bulb first tho. went to swap the bulb and they're sealed units , . bought a pair of new headlights with bulbs for not much more than the sealed ones. the standard lights are not much cop any how. looks odd without the yella ... also been having evil thoughts involving pcd adapters, some of the universal arches rangerbob? sells and my equips from the celica hmmm... anyway. went in for mot, passed woohooo... just need insurance and tax now should be on the road for next month. as a prize for the car for passing its mot i got me a hardtop from ebay, was only about 3 miles away... it was a sign it was meant to be (well thats how i justify it) not sure if its gonna be white, black or left red at the mo. see what happens

I went down the hub adaptors with my MX5 so I could use some 4x114.3 rims I already had. I got mine from Japan as I wanted to keep the rims under the arches (they're only 15mm). I think MX5's look way nicer on old skool Japanese rims than they do on modern ones. How wide are those equips?

How wide are those equips? do ya mind me asking how much your adapters were? theres a good chance ill go for some once i get all me otger bits n bobs done. your right about the J style wheels. all the real nice ones are muchos costly though, but can justify it a bit more if i can use them on the two cars my equips are 7x14, not sure on the offset but its pretty low. should fill some arches nicely with the width of adapters too

wow.... cant believe its 6 months since i added anything to this, taxed, i reckon ive driven it maybe 10 times in the last 6 months i got carried away with my celica and hardly touched this. i did go and meet up with a load from mx5 nutz back in may, went for a blast up the horseshoe pass, to the ponderosa up the top for a bacon butty! ace day out, didnt get enough pics really, there were about 45 or 48 cars( cant remember now) one other day i went for a blast round snowdonia with a mate in his, the other times ive driven it have been a plod over my dads house about 5 miles away, give it a run. so on through lack of use the road tax has worked out about £10 each time i drove the car oohh also toyed with the idea of putting the centrelines on it too ;D but hve since sold them. anyhoo, tax is up the end of this week, and I'm in work till friday, might dig her out for one last jolly before being tucked away for the winter
