I got a bit bored at work, and thought id knock up a charging dock/stand thing for my phone.
Took a few measurements, "acquired" some hardwood (there is a table at work thats now missing a chunk!) and set to work on the milling machine.
Version 1
Didnt really work too well, as the wood was too light, and the block was too short. So it kept falling over
Had a chat with the machinist at work, and he mentioned he had an offcut lump of aluminium & was a bit bored that afternoon. So I gave him my (rather shoddy) 1st attempt and he told me to come back in an hour. When went back I found this waiting for me
