Nice sleuthing Bryn! I have to say I'm completely sold on that car now - the engineering that's gone into it looks top notch, they've hacked up two expensive automobiles and created something unique. Fantastic.

I don't think the back lights suit it very well. But that's a fairly petty criticism isn't it.... I do like the idea of using a Mustang shell to make it more of a sleeper

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

Well first things first, I love it because it's different and somebody didn't follow the herd, so good for them. Second, so someone cut up a nearly new Audighini? So? The V10 is an Audi RS6 lump, so perhaps if people want to get on their high horse (Mustang horse?), it's because they put a VAG lump in a Mustang... Now if they'd put a V12 from a Murcielago into a 60's GT350, then you've got a riot on your hands... ;D

Can you imagine getting it through BIVA? It's an Ohio build. Hence no BIVArs to gnaw at the project or to dam up the works! ;D Honda guys are just so "neat" and "swanky" and "nifty" and "tidy" that this has to be roasting their Izod drawers. LOL, love the abuse, and I'm certain that's at least half the attraction in building it.

That's bonkers!
Personally if I was gonna to cut up a Lambo (and I have no current plans to do so) I would use something more sleeper-like than a Mustang, Passat Estate maybe.
But I do think is an amazing creation.

I cant help but wonder if theres an orange lambo cruising the streets of ohio , with an old vw transaxle and a 1300 flat four bolted to it, and some seriously tucked mustang rims!! ;D

I never ever though i'd see myself typing this but here goes... OMG that is the second most awsome thing i've ever seen The hate makes it even cooler, i'm trying to think of a way of topping it? Ferrari running gear in a 2Cv is uber cool but not in the same way a making 2 perfectly decent moderns cars into 1 awsome pile of errr awsomeness ;D

I like that a lot, and the pride that must come from generating so much hate is immense

If he would have done it to something old, and maybe even cool, or even something new and more "sleeper" it would have been just another "cool build" Now it is so weird and wrong it actually is different, and stands out. I love the idea of curse word so many different kinds of people off ;D

super-cars well not to my taste, but the effort put in to the car is surely appreciated. If you have been to edition 38 shows there is a green golf that has got pretty much everything from a lambo everyone praises how well the car looks, etc etc just because its the scene. saying that this kind of thing might be very popular in the owners scene. at the end of the day its Awesome because its different and the only one of its kind ;D funny how its made a mess on that forum ;D

Ford give away a few brand new Mustangs every year i heard, they give them to well know car builders so they can create something to show and be judged at the something or other Motorama, cant remember the details. Maybe the guy builds mad cars for a living, got a free Stang and a lambo that had to be cut up for some reason (cut and shut? criminals car? who knows?) and just went for it. Of course it may just be a mad rich bloke, 'cos if i had money to burn i'd be rolling in a full size amphibious RV powered by gas turbines with all sorts of weirdness in my garage, no minty classics for me, i want a 57 chevy body on my Jet ranger helicopter.

Brilliant thinking outside the box.... Dunno what people are whinging about, all they've done is hack up two production cars to make one, its not as if either were rare or out of production (just bloody expensive....). The Merc in Retro Cars is the sort of thing that should have had people gnashing at the bit, but it hasn't.....
