What an amazing and awesome weekend! New wheels, improved exhaust, and deep bass on the Civic, some extremely modest altitude adjustment on a Volvo, new exhaust on Diabolu's Honda, electrickery on Ben's Standard 8, brownies, more brownies, pork pies, plenty of 'thug life' bbq-ing, too much sun and plenty, plenty laughs.
After washing a river of grime off me down the plughole, I collapsed into a deep sleep and woke up 5 mins before I was supposed to be at work, and sounding more hoarse than Mr. Ed.

^ What he said ^ Totally amazing, despite the heat sapping our energies by Sunday afternoon! Such a brilliant time. Dan, you forgot the stripping/weighing in of the MX5 and further works on the red French pair of Rich's BX and Rich's 306. I was completely rubbish at getting any shots this weekend and I got the feeling most of the others were too busy as well to take many photos? Here are a few of the ones I took though: Bye bye MX5..... "Om nom nom....LUNCH! I like MX5's me." VIP's Civic looks amazing on the MA61 rims.... ....but even more amazing on the new wheels. Who'd have thought Jeep Cherokee rims would look so devestating? As the sun started setting we downed tools, carried the sofas out into the yard and had ourselves a BBQ Beer, BBQ, great mates, awesome weather....what more could you want? Dave found the pace all too much.... ....so did Rich the next day (so did I, Pollit caught that one!) Quite simply no words needed: Truly lost for words. Completely. Thanks again everyone, it was such a great one and hope next months is as good if not better? See you all there.

It was a good day up there for me. Shame I couldn't spend Sunday there too, but I need to make some attempt to get an income sorted before I run out of money unfortunately. I achieved little more than chatting about the Mini's plans (sorry guys, I'll do some work on it and stop talking about it someday soon!), trailer plans, and helping out with anything people wanted a hand with, but it was still great fun, and good to see everyone. Looking forward to next month in a big way. (and every successive month after that...) Edit, just seen the dates for next month, I may not be able to make that I'm pretty sure it's that weekend I'm meant to be in Angelsey with my Dad and his side of the family. Ah well, make sure many pictures are taken guys.

My public thanks must go to Bruce as ever, and everyone that helped with the 10 (not 8, Dan ) but especially Jrevillug. James was an absolute legend who spotted my frustration at Lucas' attempt at wiring and jumped straight in with all of his knowledge and cunning knack of making stuff work. I owe you a drink! I know roughly your taste in beer so will make sure there's something for you next time I see you I could only stay until late afternoon Saturday but had a brilliant time and can't wait to get back again soon

Brilliant weekend - tiring, but brilliant. Plenty of chilling out, a decent amount of work done, and brilliant weather. Although A52 went from being much colder inside than out - as per usual - to being much hotter than outside. Especially in the engineering corner by the pillar drill where the roller door acted as a radiator and there was no breeze. A great purchase, which I'm sure will go from strength to strength in your hands. My public thanks must go to ... Jrevillug. James was an absolute legend who spotted my frustration at Lucas' attempt at wiring and jumped straight in with all of his knowledge and cunning knack of making stuff work. Stoppit, you're making me blush. Glad I could help - it seems that all those years (yes all 50 of them. Or was it 500? ) of mucking about with electrical stuff and engines has had some benefit. ;D Helps that my parents - and my grandparents too - are practical, hands-on people that are good at passing on knowledge, I suppose. My degree comes in handy sometimes too. I would have jumped in sooner, but didn't want to just take over if you wanted to do it yourself. As you've said, deadlines are stressful - especially when you need to make a long journey in a car that you're in the middle of fixing. I owe you a drink! I know roughly your taste in beer so will make sure there's something for you next time I see you Unexpected, and much appreciated. ;D

*checks calendar* Yay, that's this Friday! Cannot wait. ;D A few photos from two years and 100 pages ago: Rapid Response unit in production. Polo Lowering. "Some Project X has fallen out of this bit of plate!" OMG JDM DRIFT YO! office chair. The cable ties and tape were only removed from that chair a couple of weeks ago. What it's all about - friends, talking curse word, silly projects, and awesome cars. ;D

Rich needed to make more sound effects.
I can't wait. I'm working but my evenings should be significantly better seeing as this is on. Plus depending on how this week goes there might be a return of the Volvo...

Wont be making this one I'll be in the Isles of Scilly with family, so definitely no chance of my usual trick of saying I won't come, then deciding 'screw it' and turning up anyway. Have a good one guys, see you all in July.

Especially looking forward to this one, even more so because I missed the last one. Might, all being well, have some coil-overs to fit to the Volvo too . . . Sorry to hear Robin, at least it's with family, and not for a crappy reason
