I'm picking one up very soon coz it's very cheap and I'm wondering what tp look out for on them Apparently it passed its MOT last year but has stood idle for the last 10 mths and the front brakes have seized. I don't know whether to strip it for bits, throw it back on the road or strip it for racing Any help will be appreciated ;D

Spence,.. I was debating one of these a while ago and had the same conundrum as you,.. strip and track or build up and cruise .... I reckon they could make a realllllly ncie Euro looker, dropped on ATS cups (or similar such wheels), nicely smoothed in the right places.... But then ditch the interior whack in a cage and you'd be on a circuit in a couple of weeks

As soon as I pick it up, I'll post some pics and let you guys decide ;D I've built plenty of Bugs, Vans and GTIs in the past, so now it could be time for a Retro Porsche
