Recently some members and I in a couple of local car clubs have been curious as to what PCD / offset the wheels of their vehicles are (and if they will interchange with certain other models by same manufacturer) if say they wished to change style. I am asking because last year I was informed buy a couple of fellow members and a moderator of RetroRides that in the RetroRides Wheel PCD chart there are some discrepancies The vehicles wheel PCD / and if compatability info that I/we would like to know about are: British LeylandMarina MGB / MGB GT Also will Marina and MGB interchange wheels? Rootes GroupSunbeam Rapier Series 3A ( 1961 ) Hillman Hunter/Minx, Humber Sceptre, Singer Vogue (The 'Arrow' model code name) ( 1966 - 1978 ) Also will Rapier and Hunter interchange wheels? OpelManta AManta B & CAnd can Manta 'A' interchange wheels with Manta B&C ToyotaI know FWD Corolla is PCD: 4X100 but what about Rwd ones of 1960's and 1970's Toyota Corolla And finally what is PCD for: Toyota Celica RA28 (1976- 78) Many thanks for any help you can provide.

I know the MGB has a 114.3 PCD, they share that with quite a few British sports cars, but I believe the Marina is different.

Not sure on all of them, and I haven't checked the chart here (I have a PCD chart from 20+ yr old copy of Street Machine which I remember most of), but I thought later Rootes are same as Ford?
Most 4-stud RWD Toyota are 114.3, so Corolla and Celica should be the same, but little 1000 (and maybe early Corolla?) is possibly smaller? Sure I remember someone in the TEC saying that some of the wider wheels foul and aren't necessarily a straight swap.
I (well, Nick did!) found this on my Laurel C32 - it won't take the wheels from a C210 as it has ginormous backing plates behind the front discs which foul the slightly chunkier rim of the older wheel.
So, it might be wise to trial fit a wheel before buying!
Then there's nuts/studs of course - I know Skyline alloys will fit on the Starlet, but they use a shank-type nut, and Toyota has different thread, grrrrrr.
And finally there's centre bore - 5-stud Datsun and Toyota wheels are same PCD, and I had a nice set of CROWN alloys lined up for my 300C, but Cedrics have a huge bit (technical term) coming out from the hub.

Manta A '68 to '72 GT rims are ET 25 & 4 x 100 untill '73 when they used the "mag" style rims on the GT which are ET37.
Don't know if anything changed after that?

Marina = 3.75" (except some vans which are 4.5") Hunter = 4.25" (pretty sure the Rapiers are the same) MGB = 4.5" Manta = 100mm (earlier examples may be 4") RWD Toyota = 4.5"
ps. 3.75" = 95.25mm, 4.25" = 108mm, 4.5" = 114.3mm.
Common fitments? 3.75 = Marina, Herald, Spitfite, Toledo, Dolomite, MGF, Maestro, Montego. 4.25" = Ford, Porsche 924/similar age Audis, Hunter/Rapier, Sunbeam. 4.5" = RWD Toyota & Datsun, MGB, Triumph 2000/2500/Stag, A60 (Cambridge/Oxford).

Bastardchild: didn't know a car so old would be using 4X100 (4X100 is used a lot today!) Well you made me question my own memory now and I know there was a change in offset in 73 but maybe that was when it changed to 4 x 100 as well and prior to that it could have been 4 x 4" I'm trying to find some info that will coroborate my original post but the guy I need to speak to is in the USA with his Manta A ;-)

in the PCD list we have here, is there a facility for notes to be added? Like spottedlaurel mentioned about the backing plates on a C32, might stop people making incorrect purchases as i know a lot of folk check here first and then buy on that basis.
too many variables to have extra columns like "size of backing plate" and "length of bolts needed" etc but just a comments field for anything people spot....?

Maestro Vans are 4.5" as well ( I used to run Maestro van rims on the back of AE86 for autotestin ;D)
I believe mantas are 4x100 as they are Opel`s and therefore use the metric system and chevettes/kadettes also 4x100. That could be a load of bo11ox though
