Ok, good discussion, i'm happy! The reason I started thinking about it is because I was parked behind a very clean K reg Saab 900, in white, Saab 9000(?) cross-spoke alloys and a nice RR sticker in the window. It looked retro to me, in a street full of 2 year old meganes, focuses (foci?) etc, and it looked lovely. I agree though, its subjective, and if you only have the skillz/funds to lower your £200 b3 audi 80, then kudos. Even the hardcore, 'post-war is hi-tech' brigade have to admit, you're living the dream! Its all good though, cos thats why we all get along! (with ne'er a cross word) Horace Probably coz they made them forever with only a few updates. 900 Came out in 1978 - itself largely based on a car launched in 1967....(the 99) The type 4 9000 isn't that old at only 25 years... You can directly swap most parts between the earliest 99 and a 1993 900, doors, tailgate, running gear, interior etc...

Remember the days when sex was safe and motorsport was dangerous. Vintage bling always attracts pussy.
