Guy at work wants to know details about a car he's been offered, I couldn't find any thing on this model but said I know just the people who would. It's supposed to be called Nissan Sylvia V15 Varietta hard top convertible (spelling probably wrong). Anyone know of them?
cheers

I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people I don't like.

That's the one. It's an S15 Silvia with a fold-in roof. There's just been one on Ebay a week or two ago. Import only. Nice car - 2.0 turbo, shares parts with the 200sx S14. Rear wheel drive. The hardtop S15 Silvia is very pretty - shaped like the recent Puegeot coupe thingy but I find the Varietta a bit ungainly and awkward - mostly because of the enourmous roof container . Worth a punt if you want a very individual rare modern reliable fast cabriolet. images.google.co.uk/images?hl=en&safe=off&q=varietta%20nissan&sa=N&tab=wiCharlie

I thought the convertible only came in non-turbo form?

I thought the convertible only came in non-turbo form? That's certainly what my year 2000 brochure says, 165ps SR20DE. Either 5-speed or auto. Think they're an Autech (Nissan's special coachbuilding division) built thing rather than a regular production jobbie.
