have some spijkers too: 1999 prototype c8 laviolette As spijker was originally a brandname of NV Nederlandsche Automobiel & Vliegtuigfabriek "Trompenburg" (or airplane and automobile factory trompenburg) it fits SAAB very well (Svenska Aeroplan Aktie Bolag) (swedish airplane LTD)

Looking good for SAAB then it would seem.
But I have questions, which will doubtless go unanswered, over why some of the current Spyker investors have to agree to leave the company? And I still think VW have some strong vested interest in Spyker although it doesn't seem to make any mention of VW bankrolling the deal at all. Maybe its just a supply deal they have.
The 9-4X is still coming out it says, but after that, more odd looking turbocharged cars please!

Those campers are blo*dy fantastic! Especially the old grimey one. I hope we might now see a return to the quintessential Saab quirkiness of old. (On Datsun Z wheels, if you were wondering.)

very small low volume car maker borrows large amount of money to buy failed volume car manufacturing division of ailing multinational bankrupt car company doesn't sound like the most promicing news.
I'll be impressed if they can make something of it but if Willam Hill are giving odds on the whole lot being bankrupt I'll take £5 on 5 years.
