Totally non-car related however Retro to some...
Here's our cover of Carter USM's Sheriff Fatman in our own style!
Mods, feel free to delete this thread if its totally inappropriate :-)
We knocked it up last night, and already Les Carter has found it and said he approves which cheered me up no end so I just had to share. ;D ;D
Cheers,
Rich (the fat harmonica player who loves his retro's)

Great atmosphere in that piece. Not a bad cover either. First band I ever saw. Nice modification.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

heheh cheers guys, Carter still do the odd gig, although i've seen Jim Bob do his acoustic thang, and we played Fruitbat's 50th birthday party back in december (50!) so we thought we'd do a cheeky cover for a mate who's in Thailand.
We kinda like it folked up.
We're supporting Abdoujaparov next friday, i'm wondering if we should play it then for a grin. woddya think?

... and suddenly you're a fat ba5tard! AWESOME cover! I was a feckless wastrel student in Hull when the original came out and it was the soundtrack for a whole slice of that time. Hearing it again done by you lot just made my morning!
