I want to get rid of the engine driven cooling fan on the Volvo when I fit the new rad and replace with an electric fan.
I don't want the fan controlled from a dash switch, I want it temp controlled. What's the best (and cheap!!) way to do this without spending loads on a Kenlowe/ Pacet thermostatic control??
Ta.

The fan itself is easy, not bothered by that. The Kenlowe etc controllers ataround £50 are more than I want to spend on this. Looked at the stuff on Ebay, but wondered if there was a cheap scrapyard solution???

look in the scrap yard for something with an inline electronic thermostat thingy is my guess
or look in the yards for a FWD volvo or late 900 range they should have all the E-fans and sensors u need
