I realise that this is a very long shot, and I feel quite bad for asking but its worth a try..... I was due to fly back to UK yesterday, but since planes seemingly cant take off in 14" of snow ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) I'm stranded here and the earliest suitable flight I can get a place on is not till next saturday. The problem is that before the blizzard hit, I bid and won for a car on ebayuk . The plan was to be collecting it on Tuesday. The seller is leaving on Thursday so needs it gone before then, which I simply cant do. Is there anyone willing to collect and pay for this car, and store it till I can get over? Its £640 and I will reimburse with cash and pay any involved costs. Thanks. Edited to add that the car seemingly starts, runs and drives fine, but is registered on non-uk plates and papers.

I cosidered that, but having recently had my fingers burnt and found paypal to be as much use as a hefty kick to the nads, I'm unwilling to risk such a high amount through them.

could you do a bank transfer?? - not sure, but AGES ago I transfered some $$ to a chaps account for something I bought (can't even remember what it was!)
it was via my actual account, think there was a small charge, and it was protected, so no danger of burnt fingers??

I live 7 miles away from Ormskirk. You are welcome to store it with me, off the road for a few days, but I can't pick it up without the car being insured/registered and I don't have the cash right now.
