lol, mmmmm, it may have been a dvd/video called "kamakazi", i was invited to do that and spent the day racing and being silly, it did sound like an over-excited dyson!, it still has a very similar soundtrack, hope you are ok fella, i still think the write up you did on my car for classic ford was fantastic!, take care. chris

an uxbridge person? cool, I'm in cowley. you must know ian then? through a friend of mine at a classic veedub garage in west drayton i got some lovely 40 dcnfs of ian, think they were off a fezza or something ...power engineering is a cool place too ;D dyno'd an old valver of mine years back, storming work!

I do work with an ian, it wouldn't surprise me if he sold you some carbs, he is well into vw's! and also likes to collect bits of car at random, he has about 3 projects on the go in various stages of dismantle, likes to rest after a days work at power engineering though so never gets the time to finish anything!, lovely bloke though and has superb technical knowledge

yea they are for my 1966 vw fastback....hes doing some mad turbo'd bug i think! trigger is the bloke that got the carbs for me off ian, at thingamies beetles...another local petrolhead. welcome to the forum btw
