Model: Nissan Sunny GSX Auto 1.6
Year:1989
Mileage:87000
Tax:May 2010
MOT:May 2010
Location: Medway Kent
Price:£300
Got this off ebay a while ago simply to use as a stop gap, but have got something else to play with now (a diesel) so this can be passed on.
It was in the same family from new and apart from a bit of a dent in the drivers side door and a bit of a grubby interior (not too bad though, no rips etc) it's a nice little motor.I sold one of these a couple of years ago to a friends Sister and it is still going strong.
Bad points:
Small dent in door
Tiny hesitation now and again at 60/70 mph (nothing major, I didn't service it but plugs would probably sort it)
Few age related marks to bumpers and the usual 'not a new car' type noises you would expect. No idea about history, but I met the family and they were a lovely couple with the older guy being a bit of a car buff, so I would imagine it's been serviced for his Wife at home. She used it for local newspaper runs etc.
Good points:
No rust I can see
Everything works fine (leccy windows all round, central locking, leccy sun roof etc)
Starts every time
Auto box is fine
CD player
Few spares in the boot (A headlamp and a cple of other bits)
Original advert also said this..
"It has had a new Timing Chain and a Power Steering Rack Fitted"
You can feel what can only be described as an extra bit of power going to the steering wheel when not needed when turning, but it's not something I would have ever bothered to sort out.I drove it home in stop start traffic for over an hour and a half and the temps and drive were fine.
Can get more pics when the damn snow has gone if anyone was interested. No real rush to sell, but as it cost me £350 and fuel to get it, I think £300 is a fair price.
PM on here if interested and as per usual with anything I sell, there are no nasty surpises or things which I forgot to mention. What you see is what you get.Come take it for a drive as far as you like for as long as you like.Leave it ticking over for as long as you like etc etc.
Cheers.
Oh and I removed the odd wheel covers and left it on the steels, but the covers are in the boot.
