Right with the Volvo sold, I can finally sort out an engine for the E30 I've got (the current one has a failed head gasket and snapped cam belt!) Pic below...... Unfortunatly the Azev A's arnt mine Anyway no need to worry as I still have the SSR split rims I was planning for the Volvo, which are now destined for the E30. These are now apart and cleaned up. Question is which colour scheme? Was thinking polished rim with red centers? or is something more crazy called for? Yellow rim, purple centers? Ideas welcome ;D Robin

I'd say keep it classic with black centres and polished rims. or white middle.

Black centres, red rims. It's a look you know will work. It'll be nice to see it on four rims this time LOL

black on black: loses the detail white on black: a bit hard on the eyes red on black: good, but done a lot gold/bronze on black: always a winner, not done much in BM-land pink on black: exceptionally mental green/orange on black: stands out, but badly so IMO chrome on black: very good, especially on saloons brown on black: bad colour combo purple on black: " IMO pick a pair of colours. I'm feeling a black centre with Pink or preferably Bronze rim.

Are those the actual rims? I've got some SSRs identical to that and they will sit freaking terribly in the E30's arches if they're anything like mine, the offset is all wrong.... unless youre going for the mega low with tuck look?

I'm feeling a black centre with Pink or preferably Bronze rim. Black and pink........ Mmmmm I like! Stick orange indicators back on it and do the centres orange with a polished rim. Yep orange indicator are going back in, but I'm not keen on oragne wheels on a black car (I work at Halfords atm so it might look like some kind of rubbish corporate sponsership) Are those the actual rims? I've got some SSRs identical to that and they will sit freaking terribly in the E30's arches if they're anything like mine, the offset is all wrong.... unless youre going for the mega low with tuck look? SSR RS-Eight off an MX5, so yeah the offset is all wrong. But nothing some massive spacers can't sort out

Pay homage to the E21 John Player special editions and go with gold centers/polished lip I think I am just getting to old to appreciate the retina searing reds, pinks and oranges that are so popular these days.
