Any help or advice appreciated. Please can someone tell me what the difference is between Nato Green and Olive drab? I need to order some paint ASAP and not sure what the difference is and therefore which colour to go for? If anyone has any proper examples of either colour please let me know? Not just a search on google because there seems to be a lot of people who say they are the same or call one the other etc... If you have a photo that you KNOW for certain is Olive or Nato, please can you share it to help me make my mind up? (obviously let me know which colour it is) I hope to get the paint ordered tomorrow (Tuesday) so any help will be appreciated... Have some military coloured cars for your trouble:

www.flagfinishes.co.uk/colours.htmfound you a link to explain it a bit... is part of the bs381c scheme, Nato is 285, olive is 220 also IIRC Nato green is darker than olive.

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in

PeteTong, thanks for the pics and the confirmation of the BS number - it certainly gives me an idea of how that colour translates onto a car.

MATT NATO GREEN FTW! I got mine from Cobbaton Combat: www.cobbatoncombat.co.uk/sales/vehicles.htmLike I said Bruce the paint is really thick iirc we used a 60% thinners 40% paint when spraying the Sierra. But thinners is cheap I got 5 litres for about £10. Good luck mate cant wait to see what car it is and what the result is ;D

Sierra - here we go again! He has an illness, it's not his fault.
