Took half a day but we got there in the end I must say I am amazed at how solid the Kadett is underneath , would make an excellent rally shell Took out all the CArpets and front seats and made up some 1" box section seat rails, all plated in to the sills by the Highly proficient "ImReallySlowMe" thanks again fella ;D Got the Drivers Kevlar Sparco in, still need to get the passenger one done, but with everything out it shouldnt take long... Also had a quick measure up, and it seems the Rear Cage that Daves been tripping over for years will be just the right size I`ll get some pictures Tomorrow when its light, but driving home felt so different Much better driving position and you can feel what the car is doing so much more...... a well recommended Mod Cheers Dom

Kevlar Sparco seats are serious sex wee material. Buckets in your road/play car are ace. Yes you can talk about how light they are and how they hold you, but lets be honest they make you feel like a rally driver - and thats the win!

No..... I`ve has stripped cars before and as a daily driver its just too much The carpet weighs bug*er all anyway andmakes it so much more civilised Well as civilised as you get with 2 buckets ;D It now has no back seat either ..... I called in on the Nightmares crew today as I am making some bits for Jo`s Supercharged HA . I arrived there with 3 seats and left with just the one drivers ;D Buy a car of Nightmares and end up giving half of it back to him ;D Got a couple of shots of the "Twins" reunited ;D Evil twin and Evil'er twin.... the Turbo one looks superb in the metal Opposites of rake Blue one needs to be lower at the back, Orange one sits too high at the front ;D

Got the other one in tonight thanks to IRSM and his Magical welding hands ;D Inspite of my best efforts to make holes while he was welding them up......... Now I know why the rear seat belts were cut rather than unbolted as trying to undo one in the rear wheel arch, didnt undo the Belt....... just a 3" square plate in the wheel tub ;D The whole strengthening plate twisted out Its the only bit of rust on the car so far and to be fair it is in full spray all the time so hardly surprising really Oh well, grinder out again tomorrow me thinks

Heheheh, reminds me when I took the belts out of mine. To get the fixings off the floor I stood on them and they crumbled out onto the road outside. Glad I wasn't in a smash.
