this is my first welding project, seemed to make sense to learn on something automotive but without the worry of failing the MOT, done a couple before but my mate always did the welding, i did the cutting/filler/etc. i can see it being my first painting project too. its a mk2 polo with a mk2 'rocco bonnet. needs more filler then a proper rub down prior to paint, rushed it with a can of spray paint cos i needed to get it outside out of the way in the workshop, got another to do then a later one using an audi bonnet. i'd like to do a volvo estate keeping the rear doors if the right donor turns up.

Thats actually bloody nice Guz, vs a crusher, you have just trebled the value of that Polo.
I suspect you will have much joy from this trailer.
The bonnet to shut the front is genius.

cheers Grizz, tbh its a lot less work than your teardrop (which is another thing on my list of stuff to build on day)
everything has been stripped off brakes-wise, wanted to be on the safe side after asking VOSA guy we know, simplifies the whole thing, it weighs next to nothing now but will be towed behind a T25, as seen in pics, although not the syncro, so not needed for sure.
this is the 1.3 ranger i saved from the scrappy as a xmas gift for my ex-wife a couple of years ago and it got killed when the h/g blew. (i would have fixed it but it wasn't my decision)

Like it, very cool and added advantage that it's a secure place to store stuff whilst camping etc.
I notice the tow hitch is a single bar rather than a-framed. No issues with this?

syncro aint mine, belongs to my mate, i've gotta find him a new diff for it, then a flywheel for fitting an audi 5 pot.
he's driving either a cream over brown t25 camper or a bright green 1302S bug atm so you may see them up there.
i'm back at my house at Beeston again so unlikely to be up your way shopping.
