I love Top Gear. If you don't like it, this isn't the thread for you! I just thought it'd be nice to have a thread for sharing your favourite TG moments.
Feel free to add your own! (But please, naysayers - don't fill this thread with comments about how you think it's curse word or it's wasting your license fee or whatever - look at the thread title. This is a positive thread.)
First up, last night's Twingo thing.
This was superb.
Dragging it back to the retro, here's the Grosser vs Corniche thing.
...and here's a lovely old Ferrari Daytona.

The drag race between VBH in the Capri and JC in the supercar. Superb cockiness, followed by not a little bit of old-boy sexism, and concluded with utter devastation. ;D

Exige vs Apache - Epic television IMO I've driven the Orange Elise that the Stig drove in this feature, my mate bought it & didn't realise it was the same car until after he'd sold it!! Awesome drive though!!!

LOL, is the beginning of that video a really obvious example of sticking women at the front of the audience to hide men in denim and car t-shirts?

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

watching the 'botswana' episode on dave javu at the moment - still makes me smile
other faves include the 'cheap cars which aren't porsches' episode, the police car challenge with the sheared off wheel on jeremy's fiat coupe, and the american roadtrip ('the wheels are odd!' - 'no, it's got an alloy - check out my alloy')
cannot stand VBH though - literally can't listen to her voice!

Almost on the road: b11 sunny breadvan, e36 tds, 325i skidcar,
nearly there: ford f250 tathauler, suzuki alto, u11 bluey
not for a while: ford pop, 32 rails,
not in this lifetime: ruby, '29 hillman
''unfortanatly I'm quite old and scruffy and in need of some loving. my drive shaft needs a new boot....''

The bit where they are discussing car manufacturers selling gifts with their names on and jeremy produces a stuffed chicken with an audi badge on it and proceeds to tell richard to "shove this cock up your wizards sleeve" I was laughing for hours after that.....bet no one else can remember it tho......

One of my favourites waqs the BL car challenge, particularly the bit where Jeremy does the burnout on the handbrake test! Very childish and totally appeals to my sense of humour!!
Am i right in thinking that the original revamped Top Gear was presented by Clarkson, Hammond and another bloke other than James May? Jason Dawes rings a bell?? Why don't they ever repeat that series on Dave??

Couple of my favourites are the races they've done where one of them is in the car and the others are going by other transport: Merc SLR to Oslow Race across London The merc going over that bridge is awesomely shot!! And Jeremy giving it beans along the Thames in the Red Cougar ;D

Twingo in the tunnel was great last night - cue conversation between me and the missus...
Zoe: Is he going to go upside down? Me: No, he's just joking.... Oh my god - no he isnt!
Brilliant. I want that job please.

The Alfas. That trip to the Alfa concours event is one of they key reasons I now have one. Bastards!
Botswana, Alabama and Vietnam were all brilliant too.
Basically, anything where they all go off and buy something makes me laugh though.

Not forgetting the Vietnam jaunt.
Despite my sig I like TG. I just find Clarkson annoying at times.

Personally I love Top Gear ;D Yep, sometimes they seem a bit short of ideas, butI can watch them over and over. I think they pushed the boat out last season with the likes of the Veyron V Typhoon challenge but the one that had me gaping open mouthed was the Reliant Robin Rocket. Absolutely inspired and worth every penny of my licence fee. www.youtube.com/user/TopGear#p/c/749D193FC1F05731/34/pJdrlWR-yFM
