For your 'retro ride', what goodies would you like this summer?
I'd like to develop the Rebel as money permits.

i got to get a new engine for the corty think it will be getting done over the winter now though got no money at the mo. probably upgrade to an SVO 5.8 windsor V8 and get the gear box rebuilt at the same time with a higher stall convertor

Hey Nightmares
Went to have the webbers on my Peugeot balancd last week at this little garage round the corner (was told the were good with them). How many v8 engines in there. Customer was just picking up a 550bhp Camero oval racer for a race at the weekend. Two more v8 drag cars on the build, 1960 Ford fairlane under restoration and a whole line of various v8's being built for drag racing customers! Apparently they are gods of something called silhouette racing. They look after my other mechanic's (who does general work on the ZS) V8 Ford Pop drag car too. Will try to sort out some interesting pics.
back on post: This summer I will be mostly searching for...
a group B 4into1 manifold and system for the ZS
a set of 4 pot callipers
uprated springs/dampers
sigh...

I went to buy a head gasket set for the 850 of a bloke who restores old Fiats, mainly 500s and ended up getting a load of new body panels for the 850, for 1/2 price, new wings, doors , bonnet, 1/4 panels the lot. Time to start saving for the respray..
Now if only I could find a rough Triumph 2500S or PI to put all the running gear in my MK1 2000.

I want the wheels on my Golf refurbing (but can't afford to get it done  ). I don't really need any bits as such, but a period roofrack would be nice - not a rusty chrome one but a matt black 80s one - because the car is quite often filled to the max when we're at two-day shows! |

I want a BMW 2002 or 1502 when I sell the Camper van, which should be by autumn.
In the mean time I need to book myself in to do my MSA National B competition licence, was hoping to do it at Pembrey,.. but can't find if they still run the course, may have to go to Thruxton.,..

Hoping to race BMW 1502 or 2002, depending on class cc divides in the new HSCC 70's Saloon car series. Or in the CSCCGB classic Group 1 touring car series.

Well... New floorpan, seam welding, 1050 Abarth engine, 5-speed gearbox, a decent suspension, wider rims, respray... Now that I think about it, I'd rather buy that nice Alfa 75 I've been offered  |
