Be careful with crazy offsets if you do change wheels, its debated how RWD offsets affect em or not. Mine felt better on +20 5" wide wheels, than the skinny povs, but that was mostly cos teh skinny povs and matching pov tyres are not best. I'll be returning to FWD alloys again when I start using it probably (or keep both sets ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) ) Is it too small for your tastes, or too small for your comfort? Mines well uncomfortable on the standard seats, no support, far forward/tall like sitting on a buffet! ;D ![:-[](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/embarrassed.png) Sorted ride with quality seats, its a transformation. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

after much chin rubbing ive come to the decision to leave the car stock. in the hope that it will one day be appreciated like a standard mk1 fez would be. Nice one! Sounds a good plan to me, I think there's a lot to like about a mint MK3 Fiesta in stock form, especially a 1.4 with fuel injection! Bet it's a lovely drive, looks smart too. There's not always a big need to modify everything, some stuff is just good in its own way. I would just add to get some rust protection sorted as that seems to be the reason they're a bit thin on the ground now, they especially like to go around the filler cap! I especially like the sound of that Bilt Hamber "Dynax" cavity wax stuff. I'd go to town on it, inside the boot and all sorts. Good luck!

I'm in a band so the boot is always full, and always got mates in the back. the seats are awful with no proper back support. i would change them but thats just not keeping it original now is it? ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) and don't worry Hirst, its dripping with waxoyl underneath

UPDATE. well the fiesta has been running like clockwork since buying it in september racking up nearly 10,000 miles since! it has not let me down once! only thing faulty is the drivers door latch which ive been looking to replace but cant find one anywhere! argh. This is the only car ive ever owned which hasnt let me down (yet!) so i've developed a soft spot for it and all fords alike ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) its well made and handles well considering its standard. so after neglecting it through the cold winter and loosing my mojo in the process ive decided to give it a birthday. ive now finished the sound system. its got 2 sets of 5" Surround Sound JBL GTO Components in the front and back along with twin 12" Sony Xplod subs and a JBL amp. The quality is absolutely fantastic. BEST setup i've ever heard! Well over £600 worth of stuff if you just walked into halfords. haha Done an oil changed and got some new spark plugs. Running better now and so much better on fuel. and I know I said id keep it standard but the temptation is much too great XD ive decided to keep the car indefinitly untill it starts going wrong in which case I'm planning a Zetec S conversion in a few years (only on 30,000 miles at the moment so plenty of life yet in the 1.4!) so to keep my mojo boosted ive purchased a few items... Induction kit ![](http://www.motorspeed.com/sitepix/products/kandn_57i_filterkit.jpg) Koni Shocks/springs ![](http://www.motorspeed.com/sitepix/products/gmax_suspension_kits.jpg) Escort RS2000 wheels like these ![](http://cdn.images.pistonheads.com/aimg/1490/1490029-1.jpg) I know I said id keep it standard but as I plan on keeping it I don't care XD ideas on wheels? white, black or polished? hopefully save for some slotmags or alleycats but these will do for now. anyone know how easy these fiestas are to lower? more plans include a complete clean of the underneath of the car and some paint/colour coding underneath to match the imacculate engine bay, along with some heavy clear waxoiling.

cheers man yea its the little details that count. the outside is prety much finished now.
next on the list is: Full underbody detailing and rustproofing Recaros Stainless exhaust Refurb the wheels to mirror finish
if i manage to keep it long enough id like to get an xr2i or rs turbo engine in it. seems a shame to bin the original 30,000mile 1.4i though.

Nice wheel striping combo.
Did you already known the Lenso BBS (called BSX) replicas? It would look awesome.

Liking shiny wheels! best bet IMO, not keen on Ford badges but all rest works very well, recaros is very good move, coupled with current mods it will be very rewarding to drive and live with. keep it up. ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

Please tell me that's not a photoshop?
Looks great...although I reckon the front could come down a bit more and/or the back up a smidge to even out the arch/tyre ratio. Love the look of the RS wheels on a more modern design of car and the blue inserts on the wheels.
Keep the updates coming.... ;D
