Hello and welcome, fellow Kentish type person. Do you mean completely new screens or cutting down of existing? I'm sure that I've never read of anyone that can make a screen in this country but have a sneaky feeling someone in Sweden can, just don't ask who, as I can't remember.
That was pretty useless. Sorry!

hello there this might get you thinking, a while ago i was hunting for a new screen for the firenza i called around a couple of well known screen companys and low and behold they had 8 in stock in another branch.and could get it for the next day,it was also laminated which can easily be cut by a local glass company.try them you never know.apparently they have a range of old glass they keep stored away it was only £80 to.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Bloody cool idea to chop a Victor, well done that man! Unfortunately I don't have a clue about where you would go to get the screen chopped, but if I come accross anyone who does it I'll let you know.

B&Q stock plenty of plastic - I think that would be the best bet (it's been a while since I did something similar)...dunno which to go for though...Plexiglass/lucite/acylic....

not sure a plastic windscreen is road-legal is it? i know you can have plastic side windows but i think a windscreen has to be a specific type of glass.

you can have plexi the sides and rear(tho if u want working windows plexi sucks ass cos it scratches easily) its gotta be a proper laminated front screen i think although the victor might not have come with this as standard so "normal " glass should be ok.

Windscreens must use laminated glass. But older cars can have ordinary glass. I am not sure what the cut off point is for this as 50`s and 60`s cars were as a rule not laminated so might be possible to use something else. Use Polycarbonate for sides and back its stronger and doesnt scratch as easy.
