loose the towbar and the swage line. thoughts... Doesnt look right with out bumpers, but if you got rid on the evidence and did the bodywork it might i had same prob with my capri, decided on early bumpers in the end Ageing it sounds good old rear/front... Tune original engine, and get rid of as much weight as poss, stipped look isnt original but somewhere inbetween. drop it on some wide euro style wheels

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Keep it simple, lowering is always the first job on any car I own, then some desent rims. remember to look for wheels that suit the car not just ones you like the look of, if funds are tight get some 15" beetle steels with moondiscs to start with. Then work with what youv'e got, If your not using the tow bar, bin it along with anything that detracts from the basic shape of the car. Personally I like bumpers on but if you like them removed how about smoothing the fixing holes over or making some Nurf bars? Or how about early style bumpers to match the mk1 rear panel If you decide to get it. The best advise I can suggest though is, if it's your first car do one thing at a time or you'll just end up with a pile of bits like most people on here including me ;D ;D

does anyone remember the old street machine magazine's project bottle rocket rapide? It was 2-tone black over beige on chrome modular rims, lowered on a rake, debumpered and ran a guy croft nitroused fiat twink. food for thought if anyone still got a pic
