I suspect this is the wrong section but as its bike related i thought id put it here. Just wondering what are/would you have been a Mod or a Rocker? Random maybe but i was wondering as from my point of view its hard to say particularly but i think it would boil down to the bikes as I'm not too sure on the lifestyles too much and at a real real push I'm saying................  +  +  =  WIN! Any opinions? Or rubbish thread idea?! |

I had this stencilled on the back of my Datsun! I was also going to make an air horn playing 'A Message To You Rudy' but I never got around to doing any serious work... one day! |

Personally I vere towards mod (inc. skin head and suedehead) BUT later in life I went into bikes.......dirt bikes. Music wise I like Reggae, Ska, Bluebeat, Soul and blues music. But then again also have a lot of heavy metal like Led Zep, Metallica, Deep purple and black Sabbath  I'm confused myself now.......identity crisis  |

My dad was a thoroughbred rocker ;D, I prefer bikes to scooters so and the music, so I would say i'm more Rocker than Mod.  Cheers, Stu. |

Probably rocker. I listen to classic rock and heavy metal like Metallica, Motorhead, Iron Maiden and Judas priest, but then again I like The Who too, and Quadrophenia.

i love me scoots but am a Psychobilly which is more or less rocker styling,i distance myself as much as i can from the mod ethos!
even tho i used to ave a chopped matt black vespa,leather jacket,dm's up to me knees and me hair half bleached and half dyed black and still got asked by the man in the street if i was a mod!
had to hold myself back on a few occasions!

I'd have been a Mod judging by my current likes and dislikes... that said I also have a big love of german metal at the minute.. Rammstein FTW not sure what that makes me though!? ...ah yes probably just odd! |

Well i'd have to be a rocker given that strict choice, as i detest all scooters, parker jackets, the Who and townie/designer culture and love old brit bikes, long hair leather jackets and all decent rock music...
But given my various nicknames are 'redneck' hillbilly ed' and 'Jesus'.. and my real loves are Muscle cars, Harleys and Pickup trucks, and my all time favorite band is Lynyrd Skynyrd I think my spiritual roots must be in the deep south USA somewhere!
