My word. Really sorry I missed this. Looks like a great turnout. Great pics, thanks for sharing ;D SWMBO wants that Landy ice cream van That's been around for donkeys years. IIRC it used to sell ice cream on the beach, and got stranded and engulfed by the incoming tide once. When the tide went out they rescued it, cleaned all the sand out, dried the engine off and it went back to work!

Quality metal on show, thanks for posting. I got some ideas for the camper too, those fold down boxes with the stove on, think I'll be making some of them

Fit! Obviously clocking the out-of-date tax disc. INDEED !!! Also just noticed the bonnet on the roof of this one.... surely not good for the paint. Voluptious springs to mind. PS: Really great set of pics. Love the way people get into the whole thing. Thanks for sharing.

What a great show! Looks like everyone really got involved and had fun. We were talking about this show when we were at the Pod.

I'm so glad these got posted. I really wanted to come see myself, but couldn't afford Whitby this year at all.

If you think the folks at the show were getting into the spirit of the event, you should see the rest of Whitby on a Goth Weekend!!! We like to play, 'spot the new Goths'. The one who have just wandered into a Gothy shop and bought an outfit for the weekend....

But I was a goth back in the 80s, and returned to the scene about 4years ago. It was great to be in a town where you even see several generations of goths out as a family. I loved the white transit van with a local phone number, and sign written "Joiners and Funeral Directors".

Am I the only person on here for whom Mr. Trillo's land rover ice cream van is part of their childhood? Sand castles for goalposts...
