I have been trying to upload some photos into Photobucket this morning, but the upload panel isn't displaying the 'Upload' button which means I can't select any pics to upload.
I have tried on both computers, same thing. I have tried IE8 and Firefox, same thing.
Please can someone quickly have a looky on their photobucket to see if it's a general problem or one specific to me?
Many thanks.

Just uploaded this to try. Seems to work fine. Have you filled your bucket? Are you logged in?

Damn! I was hoping it wasn't just me, but a prob with P/bucket themselves!
I'm logged in and have only used 2% of my storage (676mb)
Funny that this is hapenning on my PC (wired link to router) and my laptop (wireless)!
Thanks for trying Seth.

I've just noticed I can't even open up any images from the thumbnails.....or go to Pg2 of any of the albums.....and if I try and go to account settings or stats or any of the other links.
If I try any of the above it just comes back with a screen saying
"Connection Interrupted The document contains no data The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again."
It was working fine last night, but now I can't do anything at all!

If I try any of the above it just comes back with a screen saying "Connection Interrupted The document contains no data The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again." This is something I get when my local part of the internet is rammed busy or is dropping out as usual on Virgin. I got this a while ago and ended up having to upload via email... Have you had any security warnings or updates for firewalls? Either Windows or any 3rd party firewall that you use? Who is your internet with? Rysz.

Now at my Ma's to try it out from here (yes, I'm getting that frustrated now!!
No change - still the same which means it is something to do with Photobucket themselves, not my computer, my home network or even my ISP.
That has narrowed it right down to photobucket themselves, but means I'm going to have to try and sort it out with them.....but from the look of it, their 'contact' details leads to the usual "read the FAQ" going round in circles!

Have you logged out of photobucket and then logged back in?
Often might give it a prod?
Mine is working fine, not that's any consolation... Feel free to email me the pics to rysz[dot]widelski[at]ntlworld[dot]com and I will upload them and email you the links back!
Rysz.

Thanks Rysz,
I'm on AOL, but my Mum isn't so that kinda rules out ISP.
My Mum's is on the other side of Bristol (I'm BS5, she's BS16) so local internet would have to be pretty massive to affect that big an area.
I don't remember any warnings and no updates since last night....so I'm at a loss!
Oh....and I can log into my GF's photobucket and everything is fine. Go figure??

Thanks again Rysz. Yeah, logged in & out loads of times, reset the computer while logged out, hopped on one foot while logging out, hopped on other foot while logging back in.....even reset my password a few times. No change though! Thanks for the offer of hosting the pics but I can use my GF's account if I need to....but really want to answer the problem first if I can - especially as I now can't access thousands of photos!!!!

do you have automatic updates enabled both for your OS and any helper applications which you may have (Quicktime, Java, etc.)
See Photobucket uses a lot of Javascript and occasionally they use new functionality which requires latest version of Java on your PC or Mac. Many people turn off automatic updates for reasons I can't quite follow meaning they have out of date software on their computer.
Sounds like it could be something like this because Photobucket's look and feel does change frequently.

The only problem there is that this is happening on my PC (XP with Firefox) my laptop (Vista with IE8) and also on my mum's brand new PC (Vista 64 with IE8)....but her computer is located the other side of Bristol.
This rules out OS issues, ISP issues and also browser issues and can, therefore, only be something to do with P/bucket itself.
I'll just have to wait to hear back from 'support'!
Thanks for the help/advice Rysz & Alistair.

Bruce, do you have any photo's that people may have reported? perhaps they have suspended your account pending something like that being looked at? Although I would have thought they would send you a notification email?

oh and www.postimage.org/ is very useful for spamming the odd image up on forums with no hosting, so maybe you can use that for the odd pic you need to place? (rascal!)

Thanks guys.
After getting some very helpful wibblepoo responses from Photobucket: "clear your cache, clear your cookies" which I'd already done several times AND TOLD THEM I'd done so when I first contacted them......this morning I finally get a very comprehensive response from the support team: "try now" (literally...that's it - that's all I get!!!)
All working now thank ****, so somewhere they have fixed it and not told me what they've done or why my account was screwed for a day! Nice one!
At least I'm back up & running now, so will upload pics after spending some quality time supping wine and watching Manhunter with my good lady.
I hate it when 'outside sources' cause problems & hassle without notice, explanation or apologies!

For not a lot you can get your own web hosting, and easily install some free image gallery software. This way, you don;t have to worry about over bandwidth, space or issues like this. I pay $9 a month for my unlimited hosting through dreamhost - They give me some ludicrous amount of space, I've got a dozen websites hosted on it along with all my forum images. edit: If you sign up through www.dreamhost.com and use MYSTERYMACHINE as the promo code you "should" get $0 setup fee and a free domain name, if I've worked it out right.

This has been happening to me for the past 3 or 4 days - this evening I switched off Adblocker, refreshed the page and as if by magic, the 'Upload' panel reappeared... coursem that doesn't explain why it's not showing up in IE either...
