Inspired by the sudden rush of people trawling the streets for retro motors, I thought I'd post a few pics of cars I've spotted over the last week or so whilst driving round for work (the joys of a new camera phone and some spare time on the road) A daily driver Avenger slowly rusting on a industrial estate in Iver A faded Saab in Bourne End signwritten(on the otherside ) Split type 2 very tidy Volvo in Farnborough these 2 were spied peeking out of a lock-up in Aldershot, a couple of weeks ago they were keeping the General Lee company Alfa owned by one of my many customers I'll keep an eye out for more gems on my travels

Blimey... the handbrake must be really good on that Volvo... ;D ;D ;D ;D
|
|
... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.

If i wasnt so lazy with this stuff i was gonna suggest this thread so well done, what a collection of sexy and interesting retro rides. ages since i've seen an avenger like that. Round the corner. A cool beetle, spitfire, and a capri, there was also at one point a tastefully modded Imprza that a japanese lad was visiting neighbours in, started giving me naughty ideas. Pictures coming soon promise.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

that american workshop, is that the place in northcamp, usually has lots of american pickups out front (and used to sell J cars until it got closed down - it was stealing them to order from japan!).
I'm sure i reconised the amazon. my bro lives in farnbrough, but i live in petersfield which apears to have no retro classics anywhere!

the garage is in Farnborough town centre near the Nissan showroom the Amazon was parked in the street in the middle of retro central, as well as the Volvo there was Split van, bay camper, couple of Type 25s a few Mk1 +2 Golfs, a beetle and a couple of ratty American station wagens including this all within about half a mile
