Ive got a mk1 golf which had absolutely knackered points on it. They would burn out every week. This was costing me a fortune in fuel, points (not cheap at a fiver for a set) and time, breaking down on the bloody hard shoulder more times than I care to remember as the car is a daily.
I bought the Hot spark module for the golf which some of you may know and use. It never worked full stop and we spent a day trying to make it work, it just didnt happen.
Then Dad go me this ignition module as part of my birthday pressie:

It really is amazing and the car is running better than it has done for about 2 years, no joke. Also, my Dad did not have to cut into any wires or change anything under the bay, not even drill a hole for the module to be secured, so the car can be converted back to totally standard if needs be (I want to concours it at some point).
Just thought Id let people know because it really has made my car a joy to drive again, and the seller is an absolutely top bloke.
