I've heard about that but never seen it. Is it as bad as I hear?

Oh no! ;D Remember this all back in 1991 Can't remember though if there was two films: Manta, Manta & Manta, Der FilmOr whether it was the same film with different titles? As I remember, it was as 'cheesy' and bad acting as you can imagine ;D If however you are into 70's and 80's (I am) GT/Sports and Coupe style affordable cars (and Hot Hatches of the day ) you will like it. As it dosen't just have Manta's in it ... theres a good dosage of VW GTi's (Manta Gang Vs a GTi Gang if I remember correctly). Of course ther are some more wierd and wounderful (horrible? ;D) vehicles in it as well. Incidently in the early 90's the Manta in Germany was considered the symbol of a Madalion man/wally wagon (In much the same way as the Ford Capri in Britain) Hmmm, with films like this I wounder why? ;D ...

Can't remember though if there was two films: Manta, Manta & Manta, Der FilmInteresting, I've been wondering this. Friend of mine used to rave about seeing Manta Manta on a german tv channel about 10 years ago. I saw a clip and it looked nothing like the screens I have seen on the net, there was a race between a Ferarri and a Manta too, which went into a quarry.

...And Merc 190 From what can deduce Manta, Manta has the Yellow and Bluey/green flared arch Manta (plus Blue Manta racing with Ferrari and Merc190 etc) Whereas Manta Der Film is the one with the 6 Wheeler and the Golf GTi Mob ... ...I think Or was it just a long film with a lot in it?
