Hello all, i'm Mark - penski said I should pop over here
I'm part way through building my new engine for my Cinquecento. I was going to post about matching port sizes on the inlet, but i've sussed out what i'm doing there now.
I had some work done on the head, and they've cleaned it and sprayed it silver for me. The block however, is 50k old and a bit grubby looking. This weekend I want to clean it up and get some paint on there so it looks better and protects it.
Last time i was painting engines, i did the head and manifolds using some halfords high temp stuff. I shant be using that paint again!
Any tips and advice on how best to prep it for painting, what paint to use and what lacres to apply to it?
Thanks in advance
