Spent pretty much most of my time working when in Japan so never got chance to take many pics, plus the fact I was in the middle of nowhere miles away from the main cities meant I didnt get much opportunity but here are a few I did get. Silvia S15 drift car belonging to one of the lads at the factory. Cant get away from Mc D`s Wagon R with some stretched rubber dodgy looking Phillipino karaoke bar And if I can get the money together possibly my new car ;D TRD 2 way LSD. Caster/camber adjustable roller top mounts and adjustable spring platforms. Adjustable anti roll bar. Bigger rad. Dry sump. Uprated water pump. TRD con rods TRD camshafts. Tubular Manifold. Cylinder head modified. Not 100% sure on the spec as the lad who owned it spoke no english and my mate who was translating knows nothing about cars. But 150bhp at the wheels and a 9000rpm limit sounds good to me. He has had the car for ten years now and the engine was just rebuilt beginning of the year. He wants around £2,500 to £3,000 for it. He also has an immaculate standard Trueno and an original silvia csp311

Brilliant, its one place id really like to go. That 86 looks "kick your head in hard" its a winner (plus you have a really nice garage to put it in!)

Also got a copy of Enjoy Retro Car magazine so will see about scanning some pics of that onto here at some point.
I was asking a few people about bozozuko and was told it used to be really popular in the area around 20 years ago but its actually mainly bike gangs rather than cars. A few of the bosses at the factory where I was at where bozo gang members ;D . The style of car we call bozo they call Hanoji (which from what I gather means negative camber). It is more of a cult style of modifying rather than a common or mainstream type.

Great pics! I'd love to go myself, I've been fascinated by Japan since I was a kid. A quick google for hanoji brings back Nice!

Excellent pics, some of them make me think of GT4 cars! ;D Looks like a fascinating place, hope to visit there at some point. The one you want to buy - is that an AE86 RWD? I'm not well up on J cars, only know what I've picked up from playing too many computer games.

Yes, its an AE86 Levin. Bodywork wise its well used/abused but no rot. Mechanically excellent and sounds nice. Its also had the air con and power steering removed. If you look carefully in the engine pic in the top left you can just see the Asahi can oil breather ;D

Also got a copy of Enjoy Retro Car magazine so will see about scanning some pics of that onto here at some point. Which one did you get? I've got issue 22 (I think) with the Silver Skyline GTR on the cover. I picked up a copy of Option Magazine in the Japan Centre yesterday. It's basically Max Power with a bit more class (the people that drive the drift cars seems to be a much older crowd).. there are hell of a lot of adverts in it. Particularly compared to Enjoy Retro car!
