pickups and vans are super cool, saloons are average and not as nice to drive as their rivals of the time, but then they are cheaper to buy now just for that reason, coupes are spoilt by using the saloons doors which IMO spoils the lines, they all go as rusty as you'd expect, but mechanicals are super simple and easy to look after.

Love em, I've had two coupes, a saloon and a pickup (V8). Under rated as a daily - reliable too. They don't deserve the rot box profile they get to be honest if they're not left in a field!...
I have a coupe, '74. I think the Mk1s are the best looking - why are you looking for a late one?

I'm after anything really as long as its quite solid as it will probably be used as a daily drive through winter so not after a minter, Rat look Marina doesnt quite sound right though :-)

I'd pay a fortune for something like that... ;D Have a look at www.fastmarinamagazine.com/index.php and register as username Jeremy Clarkson... ...OK maybe not but there is some useul knowledge, sales and the usual forum stuff. And why not an estate? Good for the unusual factor. And for getting a black lab in the back!
