Posted here as may get read more? Title says it all, anyone up for it in Springtime? Seems we've got a few people in this area - ScrapingScrap, StuyIzz, Slater and the other Sudbury people, etc etc.
I was thinking of somewhere south of Diss on the A140 (easy for Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambs and North Essex), keep it really informal. I'd try and rustle up one or two DOC people too in my feeble attempts as local rep.
Anybody?

I am too, just say where and when. I have to dig my Manta out if the garden overgrowth.
I'm moving to a new workshop in the new year restoring and modifying Retro's, mainly Manta's but i work on anything, it's at Stanton, half way between Bury and Diss. I'll be having an Open day when i get up and running. All will be welcome.

Cool, lots of interest :-) Let's get Christmas out the way, then we'll suss out where and when. I was kind of thinking a Sunday morning/lunchtime thing, but whatever suits most people.
Where? I was thinking somewhere like Bucks Head at Thwaite or Magpie at Stonham, both very easy to find and have car parks with a bit of room (not that I'm expecting masses of people, just don't want to be fighting with the Sunday lunch food crowd at one of the smaller places). Any other thoughts?
MantaA16V, your plans sound good! Keep us informed here.

I'm feeling rather parched. Well, I'll be in the Swan thursday and friday night mate, so whichever suits you best. Cheers for the offer mate, kinda makes sense seeing as you only live up a couple of streets away from me After new year would probably be best for most people, gets all the expensive nonsense of seeing families and getting sozzled out of the way first. That way we can get to the important stuff, retro rides and booze.

You've all been far too polite to point out by mis-spelling of Anglian!
Anyway, now we've got a bit of interest going on the more widely read General forum, perhaps we should keep future discussion on this in the Events section? Keep an eye out there for more news.
In the meantime there's the usual auction and autojumble at the Norfolk Showground on Jan 22nd, I know T5 often visits that. Maybe that would be a good start for us? I think this one is also their restoration show with club stands (inside:-)), so a bit more to see.
