If I was going to go for some like that it would be Engelmann's like the M1 Pro Car. I'm not really feeling them though tbh. These are more my budget too.

Finally, my car goes over to www.raceperformancemodified.com tomorrow and will be there for the next few weeks. The list has grown longer but when it comes back it should be pretty much sorted. 1. Fit refurb'd Volvo 4 pot brake calipers combined with master cylinder from e12 528/535 2. Fit poly bushes throughout from Superflex 3. Front suspension top mounts from K-Mac 4. Hi ratio steering rack & ARB brace 5. 6 branch exhaust manifold I'm trying not to add up the cost of modding my e21 but it's finally getting close to being just how I want it. Taking it to Brands tomorrow too.

It's a shame you can't do the work yourself, much cheaper (no labour costs) and muuuuuuch more fun.

Unfortunately, I was in a near fatal car crash a few years ago and have only just learnt to walk again. Clambering about under my car is way off yet. This is why RPM help me out with building my car.

Brands Hatch today and then no car for a month while RPM work their magic. Going to Cornwall for a few weeks though but in an MX5 instead.

Bloody hell! Glad to see you made it out of that breathing, and well done on getting back on your feet - photos like that make me believe in fate! Car's looking great, can't wait to see what it looks like when it comes back ;D

I remember reading that in the PPC article, It makes all that you've done with the car (regardless of the fact that a third party actually did the labour) all the more impressive. You're an advert for overcoming adversity and Positive Mental Outlook. Maximum respect.

These arrived today! Excellent quality too. Hopefully I'll no longer need to worry about splitting coolant hoses. I just need to get an alloy rad now and I'm thinking of replacing the original expansion tank with an alloy one?

Had to look at my thread to remind myself what my car looks like. It was due back today but it's going to be another week without wheels. The good news is that the 6 branch, after much wailing and gnashing of teeth, has been squeezed in. It should provide a bit more snap, crackle & pop on over-run. Anyway, once it comes home I'll update the thread with pics of all the changes.

Been away for a few months with one thing and another but my car is pretty much sorted now and I'm just going to enjoy using it. Mind you, there have been a few changes. Out went the old 2.5 and in went the 2.7 with 6 branch etc. Dyno'd @ 198bhp and 214ft/lbs torque. Off with the Volvo calipers on on with Wilwoods & Greenstuff pads. The split-rims are Panasports with Toyo888r's Whiteline front & rear ARB's arrived from Oz and seem to work really well with my coilovers. A leak from under the passenger door meant whipping the interior out so it made sense to dye the carpets black at the same time. New silencers. Less weight, more flow and sound awesome. Sorry for poor quality but you get the idea? E21 VS E36 This is pretty much how it stands right now.... Photos by Simon TeaglesMind you, I have something else to concentrate on for a while.

Whilst trawling through German Ebay I found an extremely rare Ronal E21 spoiler. Luckily, I was able to persuade them to end the auction and snap it up. I've never seen one before. So, seems sensible to fit the Ronal rims too! Obviously, I need to paint the spoiler before fitting. I was thinking of picking the Ronal emblem out in orange as a hi-light?

Have decided that I want a bit more power from the 2.7 so am looking at getting a bit of head work done prior to a live remap. I know Schrick and Cat both do a suitable profile but I would really like to make 200bhp if possible? A bit more torque wouldn't go amiss either. I don't know how much can be gained from flowing the head on an m20 engine but I definately want to stick with being normally aspirated. I guess another alternative would be Nitrous? I'd only need a 25bhp boost but I have no idea where to start? I'm supposed to be going on a road trip through Wales next weekend. We're going up through the Brecon Beacons to Snowdonia so if anyone can suggest a particularly good route I would appreciate it. I'm told there are some passes with high walls on each side where a decent exhaust note can be heard for miles? I just hope the bloody snow stays away! I'm already thinking that I might be better swapping the Toyo888r's for something a little less slick?
