This hunk of curse word..... ..it's rotten and the engine is solid(as in it doesn't work), I am confident this is due to it standing though, not because it's broken. The sills don't exists on either side, it's rotten as a pear. As such, I'm breaking it... Trim, good if not great, and complete. Digital dash. Period BBS Alloys, no tyres. Doors, bonnet, boot, bumpers all great (front bumper even has towing eye cover in place!) Lights, all good. Glass good. Of course, there are a lot of other bits, but as the car isn't on my property I need to break it fast. Failing that if you have the space and time to break it properly (bear in mind this car is bog standard, hard to find these days) you can have it complete for £195. It's worth a hell of a lot more in parts/eBay etc. I don't have the facilities to break it properly. Of course, if you're brave (or gifted at the trigger end of a welder) you could attempt to fix it. Probably an investment if you could to the welding yourself. Anyway, there you go. I await a lackluster response.... Chris

How long could you realistically hold onto the car for? Quite interested in this to repair realistically, a week or so. Also, Grunty, we're going to chuck some diesel down the bores and see if it frees up. Chris

Are you sure it's not the STARTER that's seized. I've left two of these engines for a couple of months and the starter has just seized up. Take it off (two bolts!!) and turn the engine, I doubt it's the engine that's solid.

Deffo the engine, I'm I'm dim when it comes to engines, but not that dim.
As for freeing it up, don't know yet. The car isn't with me and it's deadline week so I haven't had the chance to get down there. Should know over the weekend though.
