I picked up a set of gold Datsun/Nissan 280Z Iron Cross wheels this morning (modelled here by Jacqui - the wife) with Z centre caps. But typically they need a set of unusual nuts with washers. Anybody have a set, or want to suggest where to look? Thanks all. Charlie

Nice rims but get those wheel weights relocated to the inner face.

What thread are your studs? Metric ones are pretty easy to come by i think but UNF ones cost me about £40 when i brought some :/

If I moved the wheel the pic would be on a different forum ;-)
The wheels going on the Datsun 910 so I assume the threads are metric.
Thanks for the link RMAD.

Be careful, thread pitch for Toyota is different than thread pitch for Nissan so if someone has Toyota ones, don't bother with them. Basically you want sleeve/shank nuts, you can buy them from most automotive accessory places, can get a bit pricey, sometimes easier to go to your local scrappy and look for another Nissan/Datsun with some on it already.

Charlie, I think you said when you bought the 910 that it came with its original wheels - did it come with the nuts also? Most Datsun alloys up to the early 80's seem to use a similar nut.
Sadly I don't have any spare, in fact I could do with some myself ideally. Hoping to get some off Ratdat, he or Datman may have more spare. Or try the Z/ZX specialists?
Good suggestion from kyteler, but sadly the chances of finding a Datsun in a scrapyard nowadays are very slim!
I'm probably going to be using that Trackstore place myself soon to get a set of nuts for the Wolfies I bought recently.

I got the original wheels but with no nuts. Trackstore looks good. I'll give them a call tomorrow.

www.graystonengineering.com/Think you need sleeve nuts. Looks the same as what I needed for the revolutions. That grayston place is legendary, never seen so many nuts studs etc etc in my life! They arent any help over the phone though, best bet would be to go in there with the wheel. They are 5 mins from j7 of the m25.
