Here are some of my new toys.
First up is this beauty..
Nordemende SuperPhono 2004. Circa 1965. Tuner works fantasticly, as does the valve amp. I'm in the process of fitting a modern stylus for reliablilty so the better half's nan and grandad can enjoy thier old records in actual style rather than the modern silver USB tat you can buy today.
Cost me? The grand total of nothing.
Next is the cream of the crop (In my eyes  )
Hmmm..
Ohh, I see.
1959 Decca of London SRG600 Radiogram. The photos show it playing (rather well I add) a phat stack of shellac 78's. Wicked stuff. Also a valve amp.
Spent a bit of time getting the deck to work and it still needs a lot of TLC switch and wiring wise but the main stuff is done, like rebuilding the garrat turntable deck speed gearbox.
Cost? a fuse for the plug and Friday helping a house clearance
Record AutoChanger. Loves it!
Opions! Am I mad to want one of these in my living room?
Rich
