ok managed to crash both my dailys in the last couple of months, pretty much wrote the Passat TD off and then ripped the bumper and front lamps of my scorpio which I was going to sell to fund a more economical daily..
Anyhoo I need a mid sized (mondeo/primera) diesel hatch or estate with MOT anything considered, but needs to be ready to go.. I'd prefer a Mondeo or a Primera really but i'd also be keen on a Toyota Avensis/Carina/Corrola or similar..
I'm not looking for style or class as long as it's solid economical and safe I'll be happy regardless of any other luxuries working air con would be a MAJOR deal swinger..
Mileage and cosmetics I don't really care about as it'll just be my daily hack to uni I'd like to spend less than £750 but I am open to persuision for newer stuff I'll buy cash no messing..
Just to say i am just as happy to go for an lpg car as well..
in terms of cash that's all i want to pay for a banger but if you have something nice e.g. BMW 525tds tourer Merc E class 300D estate i will pay more, how much more just depends on how nice the car is!!

I've got a 1995 M reg Jeep Cherokee 4.0 Limited on LPG which I'd let go for £800 (but no less as I quite like it and am still half tempted to keep it!). Mot 'til March and tax 'til end of October. It's not that economical (20mpg is doable on a run) but as it's LPG it's not too dear to run... Full leather, auto, cruise control etc. - I've got an ad in 'for sale' from a week or two ago, I'll try and find it for you if you're interested? VW Vento? 1995 1.9td MOT Feb2010 Lowered & Adjustable suspension. Recent clutch & timing belt. 155k (which is teenage years for a dub diesel)! Not a hatch or estate but from memory i think rear seats fold down? Crack in windscreen hence £500 ono. Located in Reading
