Dude - Nice car but you need to EMBRACE THE GREEN haha! It's a proper funky period interior - I would leave it as standard as poss, door card wise etc... It's yours though so you can do what you like, obvz!

Thanks chaps. The prob with the green interior is that's it too dark. The re-do was a first go to see if i could do it or not. I think from a style and a quality of fit it's pretty good so next the next go will be 'better' colour co-ordinated maybe. Berendd thanks for the offer mate. Got any piccies? I reckon yours is far better than mine.

Well i have been a little busy in the last few months. Replaced all the suspension again as the first set up decided it was going to leak and drop the car even further resulting in a 400 mile drive down motorways having to stop every 50 miles and gangsta roll the rear arches further each time. Grrr Also managed to finally get around to polishing and detailing it properly and get some decent snaps. Decided to make a start on the brakes too. Managed to get hold of a G40 set up with bigger discs, pads and calipers. First job was to clean em all up: And after many many hours, some high temp stove paint and high temp laquer you can get this: You'd have to be nuts to spend that amount of timee polishing something no one will ever see though ;D Piccies of it now: All Inari Derbys come with at least one panel that has been painted by Stevie Wonder. (Something to do with curse word paint in the 90's apperently) Anyway off to polish something else now

I'd always be nervous of fiddling with such an original car but I think as it stands now it looks quite nice. Wheels are a good size, height is spot on, and it still looks like a cherished car. I think the softly-softly approach to modifications will be best with this, keeping it looking mostly original but with a few personal tweaks to make it stand out a little more than it already does.

mine has the same problem, therfore I won't be having it inarisilber after the resto...
polishing calipers isn't a very good idea.. they're rough surfaced for a reason. A rough surface has better cooling than a polished surface, the difference is small though, but if your brakes start fading/ fluid cooking you know why..
I have a spare set of darker green ventilation boomerangs of a CLS model btw... it's matching the interior, if you're interested, just drop me a pm.

Rough Surface? the only reason it was rough was cos the previous chap had painted them red without even a quick wipe to remove the build up of brake dust and associated rubbish 'welded' on em. I doubt the smoothing will make much difference. Espaecially comparing the new set up to the existing milk bottle top and candy floss the brakes currently consist of ;D

Well finally got the brakes on at long last. Not bad really six months...... Unfortunately they'd gone rusty in the garage despite the several layers of laquer so they're now black all over ;D Also been polishing up some new wheels for a bit of a change Centre bores a bit big so I'm either gonna need some spigot rings or pass them on to some lucky person Off set might be a bit tight too Also been collecting some bits and bobs for the ICE install; Hmmmmm Macrom, JL and Genesis. ;D

Well suns shining again so popped out along the South Coast for a bit of a cruise. Arch's rolled (only a bit of hammer work) and the refurbed rims fitted. Not too bad. Could do with coming down a touch at the front and then a bit of camber at the back and about 10mm lower possibly. God knows how I might get camber on the back though. ;D Hopefully in for the paint on the rear wing and the front panel in the next month or so if the robbery goes well...........
