Found this on my internet bound travels... Also got me thinking, forgetting customs, modded etc. What about the kind of vehicles nobody ever thought to make, except that one, very, very special person? I love this sort of stuff... Looking at it, why not? It would seem to make a lot of sense? There's loads more on the site where this one came from ;D

NRSA forums perchance I only say that cause it was a craption off there few days back...good forums there although the hot-rod fraternity can be a little disconcerting now and then... But yea, the car. Looks abit of a state mind Saab did a similar thing too, remeber seeing a 900 with a camper dumped on the back in RC. And a beetle!

Nah, just found it on strangevehicles.com whilst looking for a hearse picture.
Grew out of the hotrod scene a long time ago after I got fed up with bigoted views and overly opinionated people, who had no understanding of anybody else with an opinion. For such a small group of people in this country, they can be awfully cold to newcomers...

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

There used to be a Transit camper with a Capri top half grafted onto the roof sitting outside a house in Fife. It was there for a couple of years but the one time I had my camera with me it had gone and unfortunately I've never seen it since.

Now that's what I'm talking about. Think about it, somebody actually sat down at a drawing board, did that and decided it was a good idea... Magic ;D

One of my 'maybe someday' projects would be a self- propelled caravan... i.e. a trailer caravan on a car chassis/floorpan... concealed headlamps and wipers ect so there wasn't too much to give the game away...
...must go, it's time for my medication.... ;D
|
|
... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.

Reliant Robin chassis with a twelve foot Sprite caravan grafted on to it, front wheel under the gas bottle cover. We measured it all up about five years ago... Then did nothing with it. Nearly wet ourselves thinking about it though. This needs doing. ;D
