Model: VW Lupo 1.4s
Year: 1999
Mileage: 106k (32k engine)
Tax: 3 month
MOT: 12 months
Location: Rotherham
Price: £2550

Additional Information:
I've done all I can with the Lupo and while I do really like it, I'm more involved with the retro scene, and no longer have to commute to uni or work. Finally I can get a classic that I've always wanted, but I'll need to sell the Lupo to afford it
I wish I could afford both, but needs must.

106k miles on car but don't let this put you off - the engine was replaced 2 months (3k miles) ago for 30k mile AHW from 2004 Polo after original AHW engine became smokey. Runs perfectly, uses NO oil (still exactly where it was when I first fitted it).
New parts when engine was fitted:
About a month ago I replaced:
In the last 5 months it's also had:
Other bits:
The bodywork is in VGC, with no rust. There are a couple of minor parking dents (one on quarter, one on door. Quoted £40 to remove both at a local show but never got round to phoning the guy!), a few scratches from before I got it, and minor scuffs to underside of front bumper.
The Interior has no visible wear apart from the "soft touch" plastic on the window switches being a bit pants. No rips or stains in the seats apart from a slight watermark on the drivers seat where I put a cool bag on it that seeped out a little. It'll come out (I'll probably do it at some point)
Mechanically everything is brilliant now - It uses no oil, starts and drives perfectly returning good MPG. The gearbox changes excellently and selects all gears without noises or complaining - it drives and looks like a car with 1/3rd of the mileage. Doesn't need anything doing other than the oil and filters changing in about 3 or 4k miles like any car.
Currently has pretty good stereo fitted - Focal 16.5cm components, JVC DVD/USB/Bluetooth headunit, DLS R5a Components in custom shelf and 12" sub and 700w RMS amp, but these are all probably worth more to me than they are to you, so I'll be removing them and selling the car with Infinity 16.5cm components up front, and the OE tape Head unit. I can fit a CD player at buyers expense, I get 15% off at Halfords too.
The car has near enough 12 months MOT and 3 months tax, with full VW history up to about 80k. After that there are receipts and obviously I've overhauled the whole car in the last year anyway![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
I'm asking £2550. Consider a swap /PX (cash my way) for a small classic (Mini, Imp, mk1 polo, GT6 or even an MX5) that I can just jump in and drive, no rotboxes or piles of parts! That said, I don't mind doing a bit of paintwork.

New parts when engine was fitted:

- OE Clutch, cover and release bearing
- OE Spark Plugs
- Oil
- Oil filter
- Gearbox Oil
About a month ago I replaced:
- Catalytic Converter

In the last 5 months it's also had:
- New OE (updated) Pedalbox

- New Rear Brake shoes
Other bits:
- 1 year old FK coilovers, no issues with driveshaft catching (never done it once). Adjusters cleaned and greased occasionally
- 14x8 Borbet Ts, professionally powder coated 6 months ago, with 195/45/14s (plenty of tread all round, rears a bit worn
on the inside from when they were on the front, but thousands of miles left) - TUV approved stretch and VOSA approved poke. win!
- All arches rolled, no catching, ever!
- Lower parts of both bumpers painted body colour
- Remote Central Locking (that works properly!)
- Electric windows (Both work properly, 1 touch works too)
- Rear Popouts
- 2 Stubby Mirrors
- Stubby Aerial
- Usual pressed aly german plates.
- LED sidelight bulbs.
- Metalflake gloss black front badge, grille, and speedo cover boobs.
- Smoked headlights
- Tuner wheelbolts and locking nuts
- Engine bay cleaned and covers colour coded to car
- dice valvecaps
