Model: Alfa Romeo 145 Cloverleaf 2.0 TwinSpark
Year: 1998
Mileage: 70600
Tax: Dec 09
MOT: Oct 10

Price: £850
Additional Information:
Now with 12 months MOT! Only needed a bracket for the exhaust.
It's a completely standard 1998 R-reg Cloverleaf with just 71k on the clock. MOT for 12 months as of today, and tax to Dec 09. Pretty much FSH, including over £3000 spent during my ownership (since Dec 2007). Previously owned by a work colleague that relocated to USA, so I've known the car for a while. Had cambelt done in Feb 2008, along with loads of other bits (radiator, spark plugs, tensioner, variator etc), and full service at Wyn Lears in Keighley. It never uses any oil, and starts on the button.
I love driving it, but can't really justify the cost at the moment. It's in Rosso, so has laquer peel to the wing mirrors, door handles, and those bits above the rear side windows, and the rest of the paint has faded a bit... I suppose someone with the skill/money would sort out a respray... but it's mechanically spot on, and drives really well.
Will be sad to see it go, but hopefully will be getting a newer Alfa (as the main family car) in the not too distant future, so all is not lost. It's my third Alfa to date (Alfasud, 156SW, and the 145), and by far this has been the most reliable, and the most fun to drive.
Would consider swap or px - WHY?
Otherwise, £850. I know they're not going for much at the moment, but this one has been looked after very very well, as the massive wad of receipts will prove. Just had replacement Clutch Master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, top suspension mount in the past couple of months. Would be willing to re-MOT for 12 months for the price of the test, as I have no doubt that it will pass immediately without fault. Had full set of 4 new tyres (Nokian - imported from Germany) in Jan this year.
