I've bought this, and I want some wheels that fit the following criteria: Cheap (as I'm currently skint ) Cool Unusual Retro 4 x 100 Decent offset I like some of the stuff that you see on Starlets and even on some grey import cars - the Japanese have some really unusual wheels that I quite like. Only problem is I have no idea what to search for on egay or where else to look?

I saw the ad for them and I do like 'em but they're an obvious choice. I've got some crappy Scala alloys in the workshop and was thinking of detailing them like ATS classics, but they'd still not be very interesting.

Most compact/subcompact class J cars (Such as Toyota Starlet, yaris, Corolla, Glanza, MR2 MK1, Honda Civic, Mazda MX5) have a PCD of 4X100 but I don't know what offset you will require.
The best member for this info I think will be rmad

57p or less I don't know, it depends on how nice they are. Defo less than £100, hence the trawling of ebay

How about Clio 16v wheels? Can't remember the name but they look a bit like phase 1 Ronal Turbos or Zender turbos. Edit: these were the ones I mean, would look good on a 'Rocco especially with a nice '80's bodykit too! ;D

The offset of the J cars I mentioned is between 35 to 38.

Japanese names to try for (if you are serious about unusual designs). Hayashi StreetSakuraSSRFormulastarTechnophantom And lastly a not so unusual in design, but there is no way I could feature a pile of J wheels without mentioning ' Wantanabes', which are a copy of the classic Minilite design. However Wantanabes always seem to look that little better ( to me anyway ) You will probabley find some of these wheels in the same place that has poor quality wobbly children's play pony dropings, flying pigs etc. And the person selling them will either be Elvis or Lord Lucan ;D Sorry
