Jeezzz, I've now got that going round and round in my head
Anyway, out on my rounds today I saw a F-plate Seat Ibiza. It was the pre-facelift with the indicators in the bumpers. It was absolutely mint and I hadn`t really noticed them until I saw this one, great boxy lines.
Unfortunately the old boy driving it bumped it into the back end of a bus at a roundabout and had smashed the headlight, kinked the bonnet and split the bumper. Seeing as though they are practically worthless I imagine it'd probably be scrapped, I felt sorry for the guy as he had obviously looked after it well but it got me thinking about them.
I think the Mk1 was based on the Fiat 127/Ritmo platform wheras the Mk2 was based on the Mk3 Polo so a Fiat Twin cam conversion could be easily done I reckon and a Euro-look one would look fantastic.
Has anybody had experience of them or got any pictures of any modified ones?
Early pre-facelift
Facelifted car, not as good looking IMO
