Hey all, really enjoyed my time indulging in all things retro and cool. Unfortunately I could only make Sunday due to work commitments  Was really great to meet the few people who I did see, wish I could have chatted to everyone. The RR forum T shirts are a must have for future evens me thinks, as its so much easier for first timers etc to identify people. Now to business. My camera broke on arrival but luckily I have been looking at everyone else's. I haven't found a single picture of my car tho  Was it that uncool?  ha. It was the Beige Chevette estate on the southwest stand. Can anyone help me with a couple of picture of that? Cheers all Adam |

Hi Adam, Sorry about the T-shirt.....you'd signed up for the stand too late for me to be able to print you one! I needed about 3 weeks of PM's to get details sent out, designs confirmed, t-shirts sent back to me etc.... Next year I'll be more organised and hopefully you'll be able to sign up a bit sooner  As for the photo - how's this?  One of the very few cars I photographed on Sunday. I seemed to take nearly all people shots and I only took about four car pics! |

the chevette was far from uncool..
very very cool colours were spot on and to make it perrrrfect,,,,,,
needs 1.5 inches out of the front and 1" off the rear.. but that nit picking..

You absolute legends!!!!! cheers boys I'm grinning right about now. Keep em coming if there are any. This is a work in progress guys not a gleamer by any standards, it went from how it was on the rolling road day (early on in the year) to how you saw it at Haynes after 3 days hard graft including going to work lol  Bruce, yeah was only a bit last min mate as I had 2 fooked cars to try and get one ready so was hit or miss if I'd be ready. Great to meet you. Maybe I'll just get a RR t-shirts anyway, I suspect there are I just haven't looked hard enough yet  Simon had only just fitted rear lowering springs so hadn't settled, front was untouched as I had no spare ball joints just in case they did break, thought it would be better to get there and look a little bit higher than not at all  Coggers saw your viva estate was it? Wanted to catch you but couldn't find you (the whole T shirt can of worms ) I'm off the chevettes.com forum so thats where I've seen you. Ratters think I saw your escort but same again no one to identify near it. Aren't you also on oldskoolford? |

Hey Craig, yeah spoke to you on the way in didn't I? Loved your gold Viva coupe (bet Si's heart skipped a beat lol) Yeah that was the old codger last time she was at a meet, little bit of an improvement wouldn't you agree!. Would love to pop up for the monthly meet mate! Will have to see what the crack is. Fancy some superlites for your one? I got some 13 x 8's and 6's back ere in 101 fitment |

Aww, was worth a try. Its the rare car breeds show @ haynes on the 6th of september ( I got an invite much to my surprise) think thats the same weekend as the next southwest gathering isn't it?
Yeah not many on the ground, last I heard there was about 6/8 still registered on the road including mine lol
